Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
The short version
Moss is software for forex bureaus. You pay for a license, you use it. You don't break it, resell it, or sue us if something goes wrong. Read on for the details.
License
When you purchase a license, you get a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Moss on your organisation's computers. One license covers one branch location. You may not:
- Share, resell, or sublicense the software.
- Modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute modified copies.
- Use Moss in a way that violates Kenyan law.
Payments & billing
Licenses are paid upfront via Paystack. Payment is due before the license is activated. We don't offer automatic renewals or subscriptions at this time. Refunds are handled case by case — email us if there's a problem.
Your data
Moss runs on your computers. Your transaction data, customer information, and reports stay with you. We don't have access to them. You are responsible for backing up your data and complying with any data protection laws that apply to your business.
No warranty
Moss is provided “as is” without any warranty, express or implied. We work hard to make it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the creators of Moss are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the software — including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Kenya.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. If you don't agree, stop using Moss.
